## Summary

I'm a design engineer and fullstack developer from Slovakia, based in Prague. I
build web products end to end in TypeScript, React, and Postgres, most recently
freelance client work and before that three years at
[Innovatrics](https://innovatrics.com) building frontends for identity and
biometric systems. I care about the details that make software feel considered,
and I co-build [KURA](https://ku-ra.com/), an inventory app for small teams. I
like working with curious, open teams.

## Experiences

### Fullstack developer · Freelance

Sep 2025 - Current

- I take client projects from first sketch to launch, and I handle deployment.
- I build server-rendered React frontends and type-safe Bun APIs on Elysia and
  Hono, with Postgres behind Drizzle.
- For [RTStav](https://rtstav.sk/), I worked inside Medusa on custom plugins,
  Typesense search, and an import engine that mapped the retailer's legacy data
  onto its tables and metadata.
- I also shipped brand sites with contact forms and analytics, and a Shopify
  storefront with custom wishlist and back-in-stock apps.

### Software engineer · Innovatrics

Sep 2022 - Aug 2025

- I worked on the frontend of identity and biometric systems, across a React
  SPA and server-rendered parts, using Redux, Recoil, TanStack Query, TanStack
  Table, and urql over GraphQL.
- My work covered a data-heavy table and filter interface, with multiple data
  flows, re-validation, and step-based conditions.
- I worked on an image editor with canvas and SVG rendering, and image caching
  between API and editor views.
- I worked independently on larger tasks.
- I reviewed and discussed work as an equal voice, and picked up other languages
  when a task called for it.
- I worked on the team's Storybook styling and conventions.

- A personal project I co-build with a friend: an inventory app for small teams
  with real-time stock across items and categories, role-based access, and a
  full change history.

### [RTStav](https://rtstav.sk/) · 2025

- For a Slovak construction-supplies retailer, I worked on an online store built
  on Medusa, with Typesense search and B2B wholesale.
